James is here. Somehow that makes things better. I'm in Clwyd and I'm not exactly sure-- no, that's not true. I do know how I got here. I just don't believe it.
James is curled up behind me on the bed. He fell asleep and I don't have the heart to wake him. I think he's not been getting much rest lately.
I've nicked his TiBook to write this entry. It's very nice. Light-up keyboard and everything. (I saw James using it last night.)

Valentine's Day is tomorrow. Hm.
I'd be more openly excited, but Toby threatened my life if I so much as peep about the fact that I don't have to fluff Emma's flagging ego. (He seems to have taken a liking to her while I was dating her, but wasn't sure I'd be pleased if he picked up where I left off. Monday night's rumour mill seems to have convinced him of my opinion on the topic.)
Nate and Devlin are staring at me as though I've grown a second head. This may have something to do with the bit of purple silk that just slipped out of my new sketchbook. Er.

This weekend has been wonderful. Two of my pieces sold (I didn't expect the third to sell) and I was treated to the best tea I've ever tasted (though that may have been the company, rather than the tea itself). But, now, back to school. I've a bit of work to do before morning.

I've slept very well, these past few nights. Quite a relief, really, after the way I'd been sleeping a few days ago. I finished my sculpture this afternoon, and named it. Yggdrasil. It seems appropriate. I also wandered over to the gallery and completed my registration for the show this weekend. Everything is ready and now I don't know what to do with myself until the show opens Friday night. Oh, right. Getting work done for my classes might be a good plan.
(Yes, Jane, I decided to register all three sculptures - the two you've seen and the third, Epimetheus, that I didn't get a chance to show you. Epimetheus is a smallish clay piece and will be displayed on a pedestal near the other two. Let me know which day you'll be coming by to see it, so that I can watch for you and wander around with you, telling you about the other pieces on display.)
